In celebration of his most recent solo album, 2024’s “I Want Blood”, guitarist Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains has revealed a new batch of tour dates in the United States. The journey starts in San Diego on August 16 and ends in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 14. Filter, another rock band from the 1990s, will support. On Thursday, the general public can purchase tickets by clicking here. “I Want Blood” was Cantrell‘s first solo album since “Brighten” in 2021 and his fourth overall. It was released in October of last year. “I Want Blood” is a much harsher and darker album than that one, which had country-like guitars and bright songs. In the meantime, Alice in Chains have postponed their 2025 tour dates in order to give drummer Sean Kinney time to recover from an unspecified medical condition.
