James Hetfield reveals on his radio show who was originally planned as Metallica’s singer
Today it’s hard to imagine anyone other than James Hetfield as Metallica’s vocalist, but things could have been different. In a recent SiriusXM radio show, Hetfield recalls the early days of the band, when someone else was thought of as the man behind the microphone.
According to Hetfield, John Bush of the heavy metal band Armored Saint was originally thought of as Metallica’s singer. However, according to Hetfield, Bush was so busy with his own band that the plan fell through.
