“It is always better to stand-out as a vocalist even though some people might not like you” – Aborted’s Sven de Caluwé reveals his story as a metal vocalist

Sven De Caluwé is a Belgian musician and vocalist, best known as the frontman of the goregrind band Aborted. Born on September 23, 1981, De Caluwé has made significant contributions to the extreme metal scene with his powerful and distinct vocal style.

Apart from his work with Aborted, De Caluwé has also collaborated with various other artists and bands within the extreme metal community. He has lent his vocals to projects like Benighted, Leng Tch’e, and Disavowed, further demonstrating his versatility as a vocalist.

Sven De Caluwe’s vocal style, characterized by its ferocity and aggression, has earned him recognition and respect among fans of extreme metal worldwide. His contributions to Aborted have made him a prominent figure in the underground metal scene.
