IST IST drops new single “Repercussions”
Manchester-based post-punk outfit IST IST has unveiled a new single called “Repercussions”. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album “Light A Bigger Fire”, set for release on September 20. Pre-order the album here and watch the Shaolin Pete-directed clip below.
The song was written by IST IST, produced by Joseph Cross and mastered by Robin Schmidt.
Established in late 2014, The British rockers forged a formidable reputation on word-of-mouth excitement at their uncompromisingly intense live shows, a fierce Mancunian DIY work ethic and an ever-growing back catalogue of successful studio and live releases, all self-released through their own Kind Violence Records label.
Releasing their debut album “Architecture” in the midst of the pandemic in May 2020 on their own label, the LP found significant success, reaching the top 5 in the Independent, Physical and Vinyl Charts.
The second album, “The Art of Lying”, was released in November 2021 and made the breakthrough into the UK Top 100, peaking at number 87, firmly establishing the band as one of the leading lights of an incandescent new era for music born in the north of England.
