Prior to Iron Maiden’s concert on May 26 at Bulgaria’s Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, the renowned British heavy metal band met with president Iliana Iotova, who referred to them as “incredibly grounded individuals” and expressed her hopes for their continued success on stage, as per Blabbermouth. Iotova subsequently posted a video of their encounter on her social media channels. During the event in Sofia, Iron Maiden entertained over 30,000 fans as a segment of their “Run For Your Lives” tour celebrating their 50th anniversary. After the show, the band expressed their gratitude towards fans via a Facebook update including photos from the full-capacity arena. In addition, attendees of the concert had the opportunity to visit “Eddie’s Official Pop-Up Dive Bar,” which was established at the stadium.
