Metal Blade Records is proud to announce the signing of New York City’s Imperial Triumphant!
Imperial Triumphant stands among the most singular and uncompromising forces in contemporary extreme metal. Over the course of their acclaimed catalog, including “Vile Luxury” (2018), “Alphaville” (2020), “Spirit Of Ecstasy” (2022), and most recently, “Goldstar” (2025), the band has consistently expanded the boundaries of black metal, death metal, jazz, classical compositions, and experimental music, producing a sound as chaotic, ornate, and unmistakably their own as the city that inspired it.
The band comments, “IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT is pleased to announce a new covenant with the illustrious Metal Blade Records. We consider Metal Blade the top floor of the recording label tower and the view from up here is quite nice. New music is flowing and fans can expect fresh decadence from IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT sooner than later.“
To commence the band and label partnership, a limited-edition shirt featuring the classic Metal Blade Axe mashed up with the band’s trademark mask has been created by artist, Noah Cutter Meihoff.

Imperial Triumphant recently completed the tracking of their Metal Blade debut. The band is working with longtime collaborator Colin Marston, who is recording and mixing the new offering. With a recording partnership that stretches back to Imperial Triumphant‘s earliest days, Marston’s role in documenting the band’s evolution has continued as their music has grown increasingly ambitious. Marston once described the group as having developed their playing and tones to the point where the music itself provides all the “necessary strangeness.”
The band has also maintained an increasingly ambitious touring schedule. In 2026, Imperial Triumphant joined Between The Buried And Me‘s extensive US tour, sharing the bill with Fallujah on much of the run, following an earlier Latin American tour with Cynic.
The band will return to Europe and the UK later this month for a 21-date tour with Knoll, beginning November 13th in Belfort, France and concluding on December 6th in Glasgow, Scotland. The run includes stops in Germany, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, and the UK. Tickets are on sale now at: imperialtriumphant.com.
