Imminence drummer Peter Hanström leaves the band after 14 years

Swedish metalcore and alternative rock band Imminence have announced that drummer Peter Hanström is stepping down after 14 years with the group. The departure is described as amicable, with both Hanström and the band expressing gratitude and mutual respect.

Hanström reflected on his time in the band, pointing to the many memories, international travels, and people he met as highlights. He said he has taken time in recent months to reflect and felt it was time for a change and to start a new chapter.

The band issued their own statement that Peter has been with them since the beginning, that his passion, loyalty, and spirit are part of the band’s legacy, and that they part ways on good terms. They also said they will complete their remaining concerts this year with Mikael Norén, who has already been playing with them over the summer, filling in on drums.
