Illumishade announce two release shows with Ad Infinitum in Switzerland

Illumishade‘s album release shows on Friday, March 8th, and on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 promise to be two evenings full of highlights! For the first time, Illumishade will perform together with Ad Infinitum, Lyrre & Voice Of Ruin in their hometown of Zurich.

After Illumishade announced themselves on the heavy music scene with their powerful, cinematic, and progressive metal debut “ECLYPTIC: Wake of Shadows” in 2020, the band led by Fabienne Erni and Jonas Wolf from Eluveitie have taken their new album as an opportunity to break more modern ground musically and lyrically. “Another Side of You” shows Illumishade at their most innovative and underlines their ambition. The band likes to cross genre boundaries, producing a highly original blend of tasteful virtuosity, crushing heaviness, and passionate melodies, accompanied by ethereal soundscapes and state-of-the-art production.

Ad Infinitum is a German/Swiss metal band founded by Melissa Bonny in 2018. Drummer Niklas Müller, guitarist Adrian Thessenvitz, and bassist Korbinian Benedict complete this hypnotizingly intense quartet. Hard and modern guitar riffs merge with epic and enchanting orchestrations. Haunting vocal melodies and demonic growls are used with a finesse unmatched by anyone else in the scene.
