There are many bands from Norway that have made their mark on the history of heavy metal, and Leprous is definitely part of this select group. One of the reasons is the voice and charisma of its vocalist Einar Solberg. The singer’s mix of falsettos and harsh vocals have become a trademark of the progmetal group, which last year released its latest studio album Melodies of Atonement, and is preparing to release the live album An Evening Of Atonement on October 24th, 2025 via InsideOutMusic.
Chaoszine had a chat with Einar before he got on stage at Kaaos Festival 2025 and discussed in detail how he started listening to heavy music, his influences and the kind of vocalist he became. You can check out the video interview in full below:
