The long run from the abyss is finally over: Sweden’s masters of aural dissonance and unapologetic heaviness, Humanity’s Last Breath, have shared their first new music after signing to Century Media Records in April last year.
The new track called ‘Anthracite‘ is a dark, intense journey through ascension and liberation from the physical realm, and dives right into the abyss. The track was written and produced by Buster Odeholm and Calle Thomér, and additional sounddesign comes from Code: Pandorum. The video was created by Tuomas Kurikka and Patrik Nuorteva of Riivata Visuals.

The new track seamlessly ties to the band’s signature thall sound, encompassing elements of djent, doom, deathcore and an apocalyptic sense of atonal atmosphere and calculated chaos.
Formed over a decade ago as brainchild and creative outlet for guitarist and producer Buster Odeholm (who also plays with Swedish progressive metal legends, Vildhjarta and drums with metalcore standard-setters, thrown) and vocalist Filip Danielsson, Humanity’s Last Breath continue to raise the standards and expand the lexicon of extreme sounds for metal.
Starting on 12th April in Tokyo, Humanity’s Last Breath will embark on a short headline run to Japan, before starting their US & CAN tour with Angelmaker, Psychoframe & The Gloom In The Corner.
