In 2012, Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry established the American rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires. The Hollywood Vampires, a celebrity drinking club that Cooper founded in the 1970s with Harry Nilsson, Keith Moon of the Who, and Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, is the source of the band’s name. Robert DeLeo of Stone Temple Pilots and Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses are among the touring members.

Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, Zak Starkey, and Christopher Lee are just a few of the guests on the band’s two studio albums. The original Hollywood Vampires‘ goal was to consume alcohol until no one was able to stand. This happened in the 1970s, when Cooper‘s drinking was at its peak. In the 1991 video biography Prime Cuts, Cooper delves deeper into the Rainbow Bar version of the Hollywood Vampires.
