Hayley Williams of Paramore tributes Freddie Mercury at Wembley Stadium in London

When Hayley Williams of Paramore got the chance to perform at London’s Wembley Stadium, she took the opportunity to honor Queen‘s Freddie Mercury musically with an incredible return. While the band was playing at one of Taylor Swift‘s Eras tour stops, Williams took a moment to play around. As Williams emerged onto a runway facing the audience, she addressed the gathering, saying:

I’ve got one minute to try something and I need you to help me.

The singer then chose to do Mercury’s “Ayo” vocal warm-ups for the audience while wearing faded blue trousers and a white T-shirt, just like he did at Live Aid. Williams showcased her vocal range by finishing the run on a long-held note that delighted the crowd and brought her comrades, who were enjoying a break back on the main stage, to applaud.
