Hacktivist is back! Band drops new music video with updated lineup

Following the announcement of a major exodus of members earlier this week, British rap-metallers Hacktivist have now revealed their reorganized lineup. The band just added drummer Stee Cole and guitarist Alex Hek (formerly of October Ends) to their lineup. Their arrivals come after drummer Richard Hawking, bassist Josh Gurner, and guitarist James Hewitt left. The first single from the reformed group to be released is “Bones,” which was produced by George Lever and Sam Kubrick. Together with Shaun Hodson, the band’s co-vocalist JJ Olifent co-directed a music video for this new song.

‘Bones‘ is more than just a track—it’s a statement. A blistering call-out to the industry snakes who exploit the hard work of bands for their own gain. Hacktivist is taking the DIY route, reclaiming our music, our message, and our future. This is the new Hacktivist, and we’re here to stay.” The song also reflects the challenges the band has faced in recent months. But instead of engaging in online drama, we deliver truth through raw, unfiltered creativity. This is our response. This is ‘Bones‘.
