Hacktivist guitarist, bassist and drummer leave the band

British rap metal band Hacktivist has announced that guitarist James Hewitt, bassist Josh Gurner and drummer Richard Hawking are leaving the band. Following these changes, the band will continue for the time being with two vocalists, Jermaine “J” Hurley and JJ Olifent.

The band released a statement thanking the departing members for their contribution and wishing them well for the future. According to the statement, the decisions were made by mutual consent and there are no personal conflicts involved.

The band has promised to release more information about their new line-up in the course of this week. The band is known for its politically charged lyrics and unique musical style, which combines elements of rap, jazz and metalcore.

“Today we’re announcing that drummer; Richard Hawking, guitarist; James Hewitt, and bassist; Josh Gurner, will not be continuing in the band with us. We’re super grateful for their contributions and wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Tough decisions have been made on all sides, but we can assure all of our supporters that there’s no bad blood between us. It’s all love.
