Music fans may be surprised to discover that Tobias Forge, best known as the mastermind behind Ghost, had an extensive musical career before his current success. Beyond his work with death metal band Repugnant, pop-rock group Subvision, glam metal act Crashdïet, and punk outfit Onkel Kånkel, Forge also recorded a solo album in 2008 that was never officially released.
This lost album, titled “Passiflora,” has now appeared on YouTube, uploaded by a French user named AnselmeCipher, who credits the discovery to someone called “Apple Juice Enjoyer.” The album provides a fascinating glimpse into Forge’s musical evolution before Ghost‘s debut “Opus Eponymous” was released in 2010.
