From cancellations to celebration: Gene Simmons scraps shows ahead of Kiss reunion

What a whirlwind of events that happen in such a short timeframe! Let’s start at the beginning… Gene Simmons was selling the opportunity to be his roadie for $12,495 before cancelling 17 gigs on his planned solo tour. The cancellation of over half of the Gene Simmons Band‘s tour dates has not been explained, but it is rumoured that it has nothing to do with his health. Tickets are being reimbursed and any roadie experience tickets sold for the impacted events can be exchanged for any of the remaining dates, even if the withdrawn shows are being represented as postponed. As part of the Kiss Army fan club’s 50th anniversary celebrations, Kiss has announced that they would play an unmasked event in November. Former Kiss member Bruce Kulick will play at the Kiss Army Storms Vegas event, which will be held from November 14–16 at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas.
