Fredrik Lindgren of Unleashed has passed away

The guitarist for the well-known band Unleashed, Fredrik Lindgren, has died. He was 53. He was a member of Unleashed from 1989 until 1995, playing lead guitar on their first four albums: “Where No Life Dwells” (1991), “Shadows in the Deep” (1992), “Across the Open Sea” (1993), and “Victory” (1995). Apart from his involvement with Unleashed, Lindgren was also a member of Terra Firma and Harms Way. He most recently worked on Atlantic Tide and Born of Fire. Along with an official statement from the band, Unleashed shared the news of Lindgren’s passing on their official Facebook page. Similar to this, Lindgren, who was also known as Freddie Eugene when he was a member of Terra Firma from 1995 to 2003, was honored on social media by singer Lord Chritus (real name Christian Lindersson). It should be mentioned that Lindgren was not a member of the current hardcore group, but rather of the stoner metal band Harms Way. Lindgren worked on a variety of projects over the years.
