Legendary band Foo Fighters have now publicly condemned the usage of their song “My Hero” by former U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump used this song in his recent campaign running for president, last Friday, August 23rd. The song was played as Trump welcomed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to the stage.

Foo Fighters wrote on social media:

In addition to this answer via social media, a spokesperson of the band (per Billboard.com) spoke out about this fact and stated that the band was not asked for permission to use their song, but even if they were, they would not have granted it. Foo Fighter’s spokesperson also stated that “appropriate actions” are being taken against the Trump campaign at this very moment. If Trump will continue using Foo Fighter‘s song “My Hero” in his campaign and some money will be generated by it, then this money will be donated to Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for their Democrat presidential ticket.
