Five Finger Death Punch cancels the last three European shows due to Ivan Moody’s health condition

Author Silvia Tortiglione - 3.6.2023

We all knew about the condition of Five Finger Death Punch‘s Ivan Moody. The singer had in fact undergone extensive surgery to combat the presence of three hernias. This sad news led the band to give up their role as Metalilca‘s support during the European shows. Now that the situation seemed to have recovered, Five Finger Death Punch announced the cancellation of the remaining three shows on the continent. These dates should have been held in Romania, Sweden, and Switzerland. Respectively:

14 June – Bucharest, Romania, Metalhead Festival
18 June – Gothenburg, Sweden, Ullevi Stadium
23 June – Aarburg, Switzerland, Summerside Festival

A total of nine performances were canceled by the band, which, however, expresses great empathy, putting the well-being of its frontman before everything else. Doctors and surgeons had advised Ivan Moody to take a break and rest, following complications from the clinical operation.

Ivan was recently seen by his medical team and they have now advised him to rest and refrain from travel until the beginning of July. This is to ensure he makes a full recovery and can be ready to start the North American leg of this tour on July 21st in York, PA without further interruption.
