TEMPLE BALLS

Temple Balls is an energetic hard rock band from Finland. In recent years, they have been busy both in the studio and on stage. They have shared the stage with acts such as Sonata Arctica, Queen, Deep Purple, and Uriah Heep, proving they can command stages of all sizes, from massive festivals to local clubs. Only after seeing the band live can you truly understand what it’s all about.

Temple Balls released their first official single, Hell and Feelin’ Fine, in September 2016, gaining significant airtime on Radio Rock. Their debut album, Traded Dreams, was recorded at Karma Sound Studios (Thailand) in May 2016 and released in February 2017. It was produced by Tobias Lindell, known for his work with Europe, Mustasch, and H.E.A.T. Fall 2017 kicked off with a sold-out tour with Battle Beast across Finland. The band also debuted in Japan and did a five-day tour in Ukraine. After the Japan tour, readers of Japan’s most prominent rock magazine, Burrn!, voted Temple Balls as the ‘second brightest hope,’ and the band was named ‘Newcomer of the Year’ on Masa Ito’s Rock T.V.

Their second album, Untamed, was released in March 2019 to much acclaim from music media, including Soundi and Burrn! magazines. The band also toured Europe as Sonata Arctica’s supporting act, strengthening their reputation as stellar live performers. Temple Balls’ third album, Pyromide, marked their debut with Frontiers Records, showcasing an impressive feat of melodic hard rock that elevated their profile on the global stage. Produced by Jona Tee, the album is packed with melodic hooks, powerful rhythms, and anthemic rock ‘n’ roll energy. In May 2022, the band embarked on a three-week European tour with Swedish melodic metal masters H.E.A.T., continuing to perform at festivals across Finland over the summer.

The single “Death Weight” was released worldwide on October 2, 2023, receiving a warm welcome from fans and media alike. Their fourth album, Avalanche, was released on November 10, 2023, followed by a tour in spring 2024. Highlights included supporting legendary Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson at Helsinki’s Kulttuuritalo. Currently, Temple Balls are still touring in support of Avalanche. In November 2024, they’ll embark on a nine-day tour across the U.K. before beginning work on their next album, set for release in the latter half of 2025.
