Fervence release new single “Zenith” and announce album “Constructs”
Progressive metalcore band Fervence just dropped a video for their new single “Zenith,” the lead track from their upcoming album “Constructs.” The album will be released October 16th through Metal Blade Records, marking their label debut.
According to vocalist Stevie B., the song draws on feelings of hopelessness and depression tied to prolonged health struggles, both personal and among loved ones.
Fervence formed in 2019 in Reno, Nevada as guitarist Trent Odneal’s solo project. The band released its debut full-length “Ghost” in 2020, then reemerged in 2023 with Stevie B. on vocals. During this period, they toured the West Coast and opened for Otep, Left To Suffer, and Gideon while building a local following. They also released four singles that formed their second effort, the EP “Realm//One.”
Now based in Austin, Texas, the quintet spent 2025 writing “Constructs.” Odneal and guitarist Austin Bentley produced the record, while Zack Ohren handled mixing and mastering. The album features eleven songs and includes 3D artwork by Billelis.
“Constructs” arrives on CD, digital, and vinyl. The vinyl variants include Pearl Bone Marble and Shimmer Gold with Black Marble in the US, plus Royalty Metallic Marbled in the EU. Pre-orders are available now.
