This year’s “The Game Awards” will feature a live performance by the alternative metal group Evanescence, as reported by theprp. On December 11th, the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California will host the annual awards ceremony honoring the top talent in the video game business in 2025. At the awards presentation, the aforementioned diamond-certified group will perform their song “Afterlife.” The song was written for the Netflix animated version of the popular video game series “Devil May Cry.” It seems that word of the second season of that animated series may be revealed at the same time as Evanescence‘s upcoming performance of the song.
There were other celebrities whose music was connected to the first season of “Devil May Cry” besides Evanescence. There were additional songs by Papa Roach, Crazy Town, Limp Bizkit, and Rage Against The Machine.
