Author Benedetta Baldin - 7.6.2026

On June 6th, Escuela Grind announced via an online statement that they had changed the location of their event to Urban Spree in Berlin, Germany, at the last minute, as per theprp. The band claims that the head of security at that location attacked drummer Jesse Fuentes and singer Katerina Economou before their scheduled performance. The band has decided to relocate their performance to Tommyhaus due to the alleged attack.

BERLIN! LAST MINUTE VENUE CHANGE!!
Tonight’s show at Ubran Spree has been moved to Tommyhaus due to Katerina & Jess being assaulted by head Security upon arrival. We do not feel it is safe for us, the bands, or our fans to perform at Urban Spree in light of what we and other staff had to experience/witness. VERY thankful for Tommyhaus helping us keep the show alive and we can’t wait to see you there!

Escuela Grind provides politically motivated lyrics inspired by contemporary fears, unrest, and the origins of Hardcore Punk, Grindcore, and Power Violence through energetic, punishingly brief songs. Although Katerina Economou, Jesse Fuentes (Kill the Client, Creator/Destroyer), Jason Balthazar Eldridge (Hearse), and Kris Morash (Your Brain on Drugs) are from various parts of the United States, the band has been based in Upstate New York and Western Massachusetts since its debut performances in 2016.
