After having smashed the charts all over the world, and reaching positions of respect in the rock tier among various countries, the Japanese supergroup The Last Rockstars has achieved new success. The show held last Friday, 10 February, was an incredible phenomenon. A total sold-out at the Hollywood Palladium, in Los Angeles.
The supergroup consists of the champions of the Japanese metal and visual kei scene. We have Yoshiki (X-Japan) on drums and piano, Hyde (L’Arc~en~Ciel) on vocal, Sugizo (Luna Sea) and Miyavi (Dué le quartz) on guitars. All of them have been a key part of the Japanese visual kei movement, and pillars of Eastern metal in general. Their first single “The Last Rockstars (Paris Mix)” perfectly sums up the style and passion of these cultural streams.
