Swiss folk metal giants Eluveitie have stormed back onto the scene after a six-year break with their brand-new album “Ànv”, released on April 25th, 2025, via Nuclear Blast. This marks the band’s ninth studio album, continuing their signature fusion of melodic death metal and Celtic folk music.
The album also introduces fans to the band’s newest member, violinist and hurdy-gurdy player Lea-Sophie Fischer, who joined Eluveitie in 2024. Production duties for “Ànv” were handled by Jens Bogren alongside Jonas Wolf and Tommy Vetterli, ensuring a polished and powerful sound throughout.
“Ànv” is available as a CD, digital download, and a limited green vinyl edition — capped at just 2,500 copies worldwide. If you’re quick, you can grab a copy from Nuclear Blast’s online store.
To add to the excitement, Eluveitie will be joining forces with Arch Enemy, Amorphis, and Gatecreeper for the “European Blood Dynasty 2025” tour this fall.
