Einar Solberg of Leprous will release his second solo album, “Vox Occulta”, on April 24th 2026. A bold, powerful and symphonic work, the album was recorded in collaboration with the renowned Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
Now, Einar is delighted to present the new single “Vita Fragilis”. The video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the orchestra as they record their parts:
‘Vita Fragilis’ was created together with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. It’s a cinematic, progressive track without the usual verse/chorus structure, and features the longest harsh vocal passage I’ve done in quite some time. Are you curious to hear how odd-time signatures sound with a full symphony orchestra?
In addition to the splendid orchestration, Einar is joined by drummer Keli Guðjónsson (Agent Fresco), violinist Chris Baum (Bent Knee), guitarist Pierre Danel (Novelists) and bassist Jed Lingat, as well as guitarists Ben Levin (ex-Bent Knee) and John Browne (Monuments). The album was mixed by Adam Noble (Nothing But Thieves, Biffy Clyro) and co-produced with David Castillo.
The first live dates in support of his upcoming second solo album have also been announced, and 2026 will see him playing the following headline dates across Europe:
Support on the headline shows comes from Royal Sorrow, Raphael Weinroth-Browne, Jovian Moons.
Einar kicked off his solo career in 2023 with the release of ‘16’, an album of wildly diverse collaborations, that also saw him performing his first ever solo live dates, performing at the likes of Prognosis Festival, Euroblast, Hellfest & Rock Imperium, alongside a hugely talented live band.
