Dvne drops raw and powerful live session “Live at The Biscuit Factory”

Scottish progressive post-metal powerhouse Dvne is back at it—and louder than ever. Hot on the heels of their acclaimed third studio album “Voidkind”, the band has unleashed a special live recording titled “Live at The Biscuit Factory”, available now digitally via Metal Blade Records. Captured in a no-frills, intimate setting, the session puts a fresh spin on select tracks from “Voidkind” and offers a front-row seat to the band’s raw, collective energy.

This live session isn’t just a performance—it’s a glimpse into the soul of Dvne. The band intentionally kept the setup stripped-back to replicate the mood of their rehearsals and live shows. They picked personal favorites from “Voidkind”, aiming to reflect not just sound but the emotional connection they share with the material. The result? A live experience that feels personal, immediate, and full of texture.

Formed in Edinburgh back in 2013, Dvne began as a collaboration between French guitarist/vocalist Victor Vicart and Scottish drummer Dudley Tait. Their second album, “Etemen Ænka”, released in 2021, marked a major leap forward, securing their place on festival lineups and headlining tours across Europe. Now, with “Voidkind”, the band has evolved further, thanks in part to the addition of keyboardist Maxime Keller. His atmospheric layers add new depth and dimension to the band’s already intricate soundscape.

Right now, Dvne is deep into a full-blown European tour that’s set to roll through the summer and hit major festivals along the way. And with “Live at The Biscuit Factory” out in the wild, fans have one more reason to dive into the sonic world they’ve built—raw, emotional, and unfiltered.
