Draconian announce “In Somnolent Ruin” European Tour 2027

The undisputed masters of Swedish gothic/doom metal Draconian announce their triumphant return to the stages! The band will travel as part of the highly anticipated “In Somnolent Ruin” Tour, an exclusive series of concerts dedicated to the live presentation of their eighth studio album, coming soon.

As a recurring theme on “In Somnolent Ruin”, Draconian explore Plato’s theory of the soul – an element that was not planned from the very beginning, but instead emerged organically during the creation of the new album, which has once again been written, recorded and arranged by Johan Ericson. 

This new chapter in their discography, entitled “In Somnolent Ruin”, is a deep dive into the darkest and most introspective atmospheres of their career. The album promises to mark a return to the sounds that defined the genre, recreating that unique alchemy between deep growls and the characteristic clean vocal melodies that made Draconian an institution.
