Doom band Messa to release new album “The Spin” in April – listen to the new single

Italian doom band Messa are set to release their new album “The Spin” on April 11th via Metal Blade Records. At the same time, the band has released a new single called “At Races” with a music video.

The band retreated to a 500 year old villa for six weeks to compose the songs for the album. The album features new sounds, including an 80s gothic rock sound. The band says they don’t want to repeat themselves, but are always looking for new ways to express themselves.

The new single is about the pressures that the outside world puts on us. The band says that the song is inspired by the sound of Killing Joke, among others.
