Dutch-Slovak deathcore band Distant has released a new video for “Heritage” (taken from the group’s new LP) which features a guest appearance from Will Ramos of Lorna Shore.
“Heritage” is also the title of the band’s new album which came out Friday, February 10, via Century Media.
Speaking about the new song, the European metallers say, “Heritage, the title track from the newest Distant album, is a playful and colourful track featuring Will Ramos from Lorna Shore. Heritage is a breathtakingly heavy track yet still emotional, with a huge chorus and pace to last you for days, showcasing the diversity of our Dutch/Slovak collective!“.
They also add: “At last, the father and son cross blades; during this exhausting battle, they remember the times forgotten as the clash of their blades sparks new light and brings up the twisted revelation of this catastrophic deception.”
Alongside the release of the new music video, the band have announced a headlining European and UK tour for May this year. Support for the tour comes from Extortionist, Dagger Threat and Abbie Falls. Tickets for the tour are available now and can be purchased here.
