Dutch-Slovak deathcore outfit Distant drop a new EP titled “Rat Torture” via Century Media Records. The four-track release is out now on Spotify and other streaming platforms. The band was formed in 2014 across Rotterdam and Bratislava.
The EP collects three previously released singles alongside the title track. Fans already know “Desolation” from 2025, plus “Nothing Left to Hate” and “Spirit” from earlier this year. The latter features guest vocals from Tyler Beam of The Last Ten Seconds Of Life. Meanwhile, “Rat Torture” arrives as the EP’s new title cut.
Distant signed with Century Media back in 2022, following their time on Unique Leader Records. Since then, they have released “Heritage” in 2023 and “Tsukuyomi: The Origin” in 2024.
