Did Trivium really leave out Alex Brent from their Bloodstock Festival live video?
Author Benedetta Baldin - 26.2.2026
This past Friday, professionally recorded live video of Trivium‘s August 8th set at the 2025 “Bloodstock Open Air” festival in Walton-on-Trent, UK, was posted online, as per theprp. The 17-song set has caused a stir among the band’s fan base, but not because of the caliber of the performance. Rather, the apparent deliberate omission of any close-up pictures of the band’s former drummer Alex Bent has been criticized in comments on the YouTube upload, Reddit fan forum, and even the band’s social media accounts. When Trivium and Bent split up in October 2025, it appeared that they were on good terms at the moment. Bent is pushed to the backdrop of that set’s film, and it appears that the editing purposefully avoided any close-ups of Bent.
