Deep Purple release new single “Diablo”

Deep Purple have released their new single, ‘Diablo’, today. The new track is the latest preview of “SPLAT!”, Deep Purple’s new studio album, due for release on 3 July via earMUSIC.

‘Diablo’ is a classic Deep Purple rock track: the kind of hard rock that thrives on riffs, groove and the band’s chemistry in the studio. On the new single, Deep Purple are joined by a special guest on second guitar, the global superstar, guitarist, singer and Grammy-winning songwriter Keith Urban.

The official music video, featuring Deep Purple performing live, will premiere on earMUSIC’s YouTube channel on Sunday 7 June at 8.00 pm CEST. Fans attending the premiere will be able to chat with Roger Glover, Deep Purple’s bassist.

Frontman Ian Gillan says of “Diablo“: “It’s about taking risks. Just once in a lifetime, do something exciting, think outside the box, take that curious turn off the road instead of staying on the motorway, and do something that, for the rest of your life, might guide you or serve as a warning.”

To celebrate the release of “SPLAT!”, Deep Purple will continue their 2026 tour with 86 concerts across 28 different countries, spanning three continents.
