US deathgaze band Kardashev will release their new album “Alunea” on April 25th, 2025 via Metal Blade Records. At the same time, the band has released the first single from the album, “Reunion”, which is now available for listen.
“Alunea” is an eight-track album that continues the story of the band’s “The Almanac” album. Singer Mark Garrett says the album is more experimental and progressive than their previous releases. The band’s music combines atmospheric and emotional elements with death metal.
The album features guest appearances from Erin of Genital Shame on “Speak Silence”, and Pawel JJ Przybysz, who plays Armenian wind instrument on “We Could Fold The Stars”. The album was mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (Entheos, Machine Head, Demon King, Fallujah) and the cover art was done by Karl E.
