Deathcore act Ov Ruin releases new single “A Throne of Nothing”

Nashville, Tennessee blackened deathcore band Ov Ruin have returned with a new single titled “A Throne of Nothing.” Fans can now stream it below alongside with a music video dropping later today through Slam Worldwide channel.

The release marks the first new material from the five-piece since their 2025 effort “Eternal Lament.” The band originally dropped it in April 2025 as a four-track EP, then expanded it in May as an eight-track deluxe version. Ov Ruin features vocalist Cole Odom, lead guitarist Devin Wade, rhythm guitarist Jerry Whitaker, bassist Christian Mangrum, and drummer Jake Thompson.

For the new release, Simone Pietroforte handled mixing and mastering duties. In addition, Harry Tadayon contributed orchestration work, while Scott Rudd directed the accompanying video. The band remains independent and continues to release material directly to listeners.
