Upcoming shows:
Often described as ‘the love-child of Lady Gaga and Marilyn Manson’, DeathbyRomy melds pop melodies, powerhouse vocals and propulsive dance beats with a sprinkle of heavier industrial and alternative production. Dropping out of school at aged 15 due to relentless bullying over her unique style and appearance, DeathbyRomybegan releasing music in 2018 and soon found countless fans turning up to her shows adorned in her signature eye makeup.
At the age of 15, Flores released her debut song. Self-released, “Tiempo” was her first single on Spotify. For an additional year, she kept releasing music on her own. During that time, she also published her debut album, “Monsters”, which featured vocals from other artists like Yung Bans and Lil B. Her stage moniker, DeathbyRomy, is an attempt at “claiming personal love” and stems from her previous battles with suicidal thoughts. For her upcoming record, Flores signed with Capitol Records, a label owned by UMG, in 2019. The first song from her then-upcoming EP, “Problems,” was released on October 4. The song became her breakthrough hit and the one with the most streams on YouTube and Spotify after becoming viral on the platform TikTok.
