Danny Carey reveals plans for a big 2023 Tool tour plus festival performances
Tool‘s drummer Danny Carey teased a “big” tour with the band that’s scheduled for later this year, in addition to some festival gigs.
The musician spilled the news while accepting an award from Drumeo, who named him “Progressive Drummer of the Year”.
In a video filmed from Tool’s rehearsal location in Hollywood, California, Carey thanked for the award and said: “I hope to see you out there on the road in 2023. We have a big tour coming in the fall, a few festivals in the summertime.”
Tool have been confirmed as headliners of a pair of May festivals, Florida’s Welcome to Rockville and Ohio’s Sonic Temple. A 2023 tour has yet to be announced.
