Danish hardcore band Eyes signed to Prosthetic Records – new album “Spinner” out in April

Copenhagen-based hardcore band Eyes has officially signed a deal with Prosthetic Records. The band’s third studio album “Spinner” will be released on April 25th. The first single “Better” and the accompanying music video have also been released.

Singer Victor Kaas describes the album as a loosely coherent story inspired by early 80s anime and the psychological challenges of adolescence and early adulthood. The album draws inspiration from manga author Asano Inio, particularly Goodnight Punpun and Dead Dead Demon’s De De De Destruction.

The “Better” single serves as the album opener and sets the tone both thematically and musically. The song reflects Kaas’ inner struggle with self-improvement.

“Spinner” was recorded in autumn 2024 in Copenhagen at The Village and Provo studios. The album was produced by Jacob Bredahl and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. The album also features guest appearances by Selma Bahner (Feral Nature, Tower) and Jesse Matthewson (KEN Mode).
