Crashdïet reveal shows in Europe for this autumn

Author Benedetta Baldin - 19.3.2026

Swedish band Crashdïet has announced selected shows in Europe for the autumn of 2026. “Art Of Chaos,” which will be released on May 8 via Ninetone Records, is a high-octane return to the raw nerve, enormous hooks, and filthy rock ‘n’ roll swagger that established Crashdïet‘s reputation from the beginning. The band has a revitalized lineup with new bassist Chris Young, and Crashdïet seems more committed than they have in years. The band continues to put on powerful live performances, and their recorded work demonstrates why they are still among the most prominent figures in the sleaze and glam rock renaissance.

Crashdïet, a band formed by hardship, tragedy, and tenacity, are the forerunners of glam and sleazy metal. They have continuously risen from the ashes — genuine survivors of the scene — despite a career filled with lineup changes, personal losses, and highs and lows on the international scene. Their music is a daring blend of raw punk attitude and 1980s arena rock swagger (think Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, and Skid Row) that cemented their place in the resurgence of sleaze and hair metal. Their career began in Sweden with their critically acclaimed debut album, “Rest In Sleaze” (2005, Universal Music). Frontman Dave Lepard passed away tragically in 2006, but the band’s surviving members continued to carry the torch by finding new singers, going on international tours, and putting out six more albums.

With a strong roster led by founding member Martin Sweet, Crashdïet is set to rock the stage today, promising intense performances that pay tribute to their history while advancing the group into intriguing new areas. Chris Young has filled in as the band’s bassist for this album cycle while Peter London takes a lengthier hiatus. Young has taken on the demanding task with enthusiasm and commitment. Fans can expect to hear new music with the same energy and attitude that have characterized Crashdïet since the beginning.
