Crashdïet release a new single ‘Satizfaction’ and details about their new album

Author Benedetta Baldin - 23.1.2026

The explosive single “Satizfaction” by Swedish sleaze rock veterans Crashdïet is the first taste of their next studio album “Art Of Chaos” and the start of a new chapter in the band’s history, as per Blabbermouth. “Satizfaction” embodies everything of Crashdïet‘s values: raw energy, unwavering attitude, razor-sharp riffs, and an instantly memorable chorus. While firmly pointing to a new period where sleazy rock once again takes center stage, the song encapsulates the band’s essence.

The ten sleaziest tracks we’ve written in a very long time“—a high-octane return to the raw nerve, enormous hooks, and filthy rock ‘n’ roll swagger that established Crashdïet‘s reputation from the beginning—will be released on May 8 via Ninetone Records.

The band has a revitalized lineup with new bassist Chris Young, and Crashdïet sounds more focused than they have in years. The band continues to put on powerful, memorable performances live, and on record, they demonstrate why they are still one of the most important names in the current sleaze and glam rock renaissance.

Their sound, which is a bold collision of 1980s arena rock swagger (think Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, and Skid Row) coupled with a raw punk attitude, solidifies their role in the resurgence of hair metal and sleaze. Their career began in Sweden with their critically acclaimed debut album, “Rest In Sleaze” (2005, Universal Music). Following the tragic death of leader Dave Lepard in 2006, the other members continued the band’s legacy by hiring new singers, going on international tours, and releasing six more studio albums for their devoted fan base.

Crashdïet has cemented their place in the glam metal pantheon by working with rock legends such as Michael Starr (Steel Panther) and Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe) over the years.

With a strong lineup led by original member Martin Sweet, Crashdïet promises thrilling performances that both honor their heritage and take the band into intriguing new territory. Chris Young has filled in as the band’s bassist for this album cycle while Peter London takes a lengthier hiatus. Young has taken on the demanding task with enthusiasm and commitment. Fans can expect to hear new music with the same energy and attitude that have characterized Crashdïet since the beginning.
