Copenhell 2026: When Copenhagen opens the gates of hell – Day 1

Author Billy Llerena - 25.6.2026

Day 1 of Copenhell 2026 hit hard from the very first act. The sold-out Wednesday crowd packed Refshaleøen early, and the lineup delivered across the board.

Smaller acts like Scimitar, Thrown and Faetooth warmed up the pits with raw energy, while Loathe and Six Feet Under brought the kind of crushing heaviness that reminds you exactly where you are.

Midday highlights came from Suicidal Tendencies and Mammoth, both commanding the stage with effortless confidence. Tom Morello proved once again that a single guitar can sound like an entire revolution.

Mastodon raised the stakes with a dense, progressive set that left the crowd breathless and Alice Cooper closed things out with full theatrical chaos, shock rock at its most gloriously over-the-top.
