The new album “Chosen Hell” by Canadian hardcore band Comeback Kid has been revealed, as per Blabbermouth. SharpTone Records in the United States and Dine Alone Records in Canada will release it on November 6. The band’s eighth and most recent album, “Chosen Hell,” further distils the power of the musical components that have characterised Comeback Kid from the start while once again expanding their creative spectrum. It incorporates elements of piss-and-vinegar punk, blazing modern metal, and even vulnerable melodicism, which offers a striking contrast to their enduring and cherished sonic foundation.
The band released the music video for the single today. It combines a harsh musical arsenal with profoundly thoughtful lyrics. Furthermore, the record cover design is based on a real building that Callum Preston constructed in Melbourne, Australia.
The theme of the title track ‘Chosen Hell’ on our new album touches on morality and ethics. Something as simple as right or wrong. Good or evil. Healthy or unhealthy, and our ability to make a choice. Often, we are incapable of choosing the right thing, and we find ourselves in situations that we know hold us back, therefore affecting our own well being. The outcome is what we make of it. – Andrew Neufeld
