Cock Sparrer to release final album “Hand In Heart”

Author Hernan Osuna - 19.12.2023

UK punk veterans Cock Sparrer have announced their final album “Hand in Heart”, set to be released on April 5, 2024.

“Hand in Heart” will be Cock Sparrer‘s eighth album overall, and the follow-up to 2017’s “Forever”. The outfit will celebrate the LP with two record release concerts: London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on April 6 and Glasgow’s O2 Academy on April 13, with tickets available here.

Formed in 1972, Cock Sparrer preceded the likes of the Sex Pistols and The Clash, but never achieved the commercial success of their British punk colleagues. Astonishingly, they still feature the same four original members – vocalist Colin McFaull, guitarist Mick Beaufoy, bassist Steve Burgess and drummer Steve Bruce – plus guitarist Daryl Smith, who has been with the band for over 30 years.

“Hand In Heart” was produced by guitarist Daryl Smith along with James Bragg, and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Kevin Tuffy.

05-No Way Out
