Pantera is set to return to the stage next year with a major world tour. The band will be fronted by Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society and Charlie Benante of Anthrax, replacing the late “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul Abbott.
Benante’s band Anthrax recently sat down with fans for a meet and greet, where fans were able to ask the band questions. Naturally, one of the popular topics was the return of Pantera and Benante’s involvement in it.
A fan said he was looking forward to Benante working with Pantera and also mentioned that there are a lot of negative comments online about the Pantera tour and Benante’s involvement. Benante asked the fan why there are negative comments online. The fan replied that people are stupid, which the drummer agreed on.
“Don’t come,” is Benante’s message to those Pantera fans who are negative about the return tour. It just so happens that Benante also predicted that this comment would soon be in the headlines.
