Candelabrum builds up the festival excitement with its pre-party event

Candelabrum Festival, one of North America’s top events for extreme heavy metal, is rapidly approaching and getting ready! Despite its brief history of 5 editions, the festival has already made a significant impact, hosting legendary bands such as Old Man’s Child, Bloodbath, Destruction, Loudness, and more this year. Additionally, early attendees can enjoy a pre-party the night before it all begins, on the 11th of September.

Candelabrum has elevated their pre-party game by inviting a special guest: the famous photographer NecrosHorns. Christopher Dean, known as “NecrosHorns,” has gained international acclaim through his black metal photography. NecrosHorns’ works are characterized as being intense, symbolically rich, and subtly dreadful. His artistic career began with wood carvings in blood for bands such as Archgoat, Darvaza, Marduk, and Blasphemy, followed by photography in both studio and live formats. Having captured images of some of the most prominent figures in the dark metal scene, he will be attending Candelabrum Festival as both the in-house photographer and a speaker at this pre-event, promising a culturally enriching experience. In addition to having NecrosHorns’ dark art as an appetizer for this party, attendees will experience up-and-coming bands that will satisfy their headbanging hunger. Among these names, they’ll witness the sadistic black metal of Weregoat (USA), Interceptor’s (USA) nostalgic heavy metal, the peaceful yet mysterious doom metal of Black Flow (Chile), Rottenness’ energetic death metal (Mexico), the dark and brutal passages of Infernal Thorns (Chile), and Voidgazer’s doom metal (Mexico).
