Butcher Babies, an alternative metal band, planned to perform their new single, “Blame It On The Wind,” live at the “Sonic Temple” festival in Columbus, Ohio, this past weekend, as per theprp. However, nature had other ideas. Due to bad weather, which included rain and lightning, the group’s set and two other concerts were cancelled. Butcher Babies has now released the studio version of the song online, despite the fact that the live debut did not go as planned. Nevertheless, there has been some controversy around that launch thus far. The group used an AI-generated film to make light of their misfortune at the aforementioned festival prior to today’s premiere. But it appears that both AI supporters and detractors objected to the video, failing to read the description.
As a result, singer Heidi Shepherd released the video explanation below, stating that the AI-generated video was a prank, as stated in its initial title, and that an official music video for this new song will be released next week. Similar to the band’s previous songs, Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, P.O.D., and Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson) co-produced this new single, “Blame It On The Wind.” This song’s production and mixing were also aided by Joe Rickard, a former member of In Flames and Red. Butcher Babies is signed to Judge & Jury Records, which is led by Benson and Sanderson.
