In honour of their 30th anniversary, the multi-platinum alternative rock group Bush has released a new version of their song “Swallowed“, as per theprp. The lead single from the group’s three-time platinum sophomore album, “Razorblade Suitcase,” was released in December of 1996. A choral group has been added to this recently simplified version of the song, and frontman Gavin Rossdale has expressed his new vision for it. Mammoth and James and the Cold Gun are the opening acts for the group’s current “The Land Of Milk And Honey Tour.”
There’s something about stripping a song all the way back to its DNA, the melody has all the power. I wanted ‘Swallowed‘ to feel like a hymn.
