Bumblefoot is an American producer, songwriter, and guitarist. He learnt about the bacterial infection of the same name while assisting his wife in preparing for her veterinary examinations, which is how he got his nickname. From simply being the name of an album, the name gradually became the name of a record label, a band, and finally his name as a solo performer. From 2006 to 2014, he played on Guns N’ Roses’ sixth studio album,” Chinese Democracy,” as one of the band’s two lead guitarists. In addition to being the guitarist and singer for the band Asia from 2019 to 2022, he was a member of the supergroup Sons of Apollo and is currently a member of the supergroup Whom Gods Destroy.

Thal has put out ten solo albums and a live DVD since the early 1990s. He has contributed as a guest artist to many compilation albums and other artists’ albums. In addition to being the subject of several print, radio, and online interviews, he has appeared on the cover of GitarPlus magazine in Indonesia and in a number of international guitar publications. He has also served as a producer, engineer, composer, arranger, and performer for many bands and musicians over the last 20 years. In addition, he composes background music, theme songs, and TV jingles.
