Over the years, the worlds of renowned video game designer Hideo Kojima and British alternative metal favourites Bring Me The Horizon have grown inexorably linked. Over the years, Bring Me The Horizon has incorporated references to multiple video game titles in their songs, owing to the presence of enthusiastic gamers in their roster. The 2013 single “Shadow Moses,” which took cues from Kojima’s “Metal Gear Solid” series, was arguably the most obvious. Bring Me The Horizon wrote the song “Ludens” in 2019 for Shinji Mikami’s video game “Death Stranding,” which included the music. The band just posted these photos on the internet, showing them visiting Kojima Productions, Hideo’s video game development firm. This might be interpreted as an indication of future collaboration. The latter business is presently working on the “Death Stranding” sequel, which should be released in 2025. These photos were most likely taken in August of last year, during the band’s tour of Japan.
