Founded in Fukuoka, Japan, in 2012, the female metal quintet Bridear has managed to collect several successes, thanks to a sound capable of ranging from the traditional British imprinting to the most modern prog and power experiments. Now, it’s time for a big first step. Recorded on 10 September, at Boston Music Room in London, Bridear’s first live album is on its way: “Aegis of London…Live!” featuring new guitarist Moe for the first time.
The album has been mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (In Flames, At The Gates, Opeth, Dream Evil) at the famous Studio Fredman in Sweden. It will be made of 13 tracks, from all the band’s history – and it will be released on 17 February, via Setsuzoku Records.
Here’s the live tracklist:
Bridear‘s lead singer Kimi comments:
We are so excited to release our first live album! All of the fire and energy from London can be shared with everyone.– Kimi
Bassist Haru adds:
London is an important city for us, and the UK has such an important metal tradition! This is where we knew we could capture the true excitement of a Bridear show.– Haru
